Status:
Green/Open

Superb. All dry all the way from Wildflower to Muppet show. There was only 2 small mud bits which you can go thru or around. Surprising its so dry after last weeks rain.

Rode this afternoon. Pretty good condition with barely any water on the trail considering the recent rain. Sandy bits are firm for a nice change

Morning ride

When:
Saturday, 28 December, 2013 - 09:30

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Ourimbah State Forest
Meeting Point:

Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.

Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

My first ride at Ourimbah. It would be great to ride with someone who has ridden it before.

Bike lights

With the new addition to our family, it will force me to ride more of a night. It will mainly be Manly Dam, I know a few of you already ride it of a Wednesday night, so just wondering what lights you guys are using and how you are finding them.

I had a pair of AyUps, which I didnt find to bad, but just looking at others that may be an option.

Happy to spend good coin for quality lights.

eg NightRider etc

ARRRGHH - Reverb Seat post issues

For the life of me I cannot fit the remote on to the handlebars. I think there is either a bolt missing or my shifter (LX with display) is in the way.
Im looking to bother the people who may have been in the same boat as me as I swear there is a bolt missing.
Otherwise I have to hang my head in shame and go to the LBS who are so used to seeing me when I buy stuff online and having to get them to fit it.
Any help would be appreciated, otherwise it's going to the classifieds Sad
