Singleton MTB track update for 30 Dec
The rain has settled the dust down, but the grass and weeds on the side of the track have gone berserk. Nice and fast.
Just a mild Singleton 30+ degrees day on Friday. Felt sorry for the poor Sydney sider first timer, who I showed around. After one lap the poor fellow was spent, in the heat.

Wingello State Forest update for 30 Dec
Did all 3 loops this morning. A few sandy corners on the single track sections as well as the fire roads but in great shape otherwise. Would benefit from a few mm's of rain.
First time at wingello and was impressed - a good recco ride for potential 3 ring circus / highland fling entries next year.
Happy NY to everyone I've had the pleasure of riding with this year.

Cascades update for 29 Dec
Loose and sandy now. What a difference two days makes.
Some large rocks sitting up on the line on the downhill side of some of the waterbars - be prepared to dodge them.
