Mount Annan for Kids?

Can someone tell me if the "Competent" trail at Mount Annan is ok for a 5yo who is confident on their bike (good on bmx and pump tracks) but is only on 16" wheels?

Also, is the pump track open? I can't find anything about it on the official website.

Singleton MTB track update for 16 Aug

Status:
Green/Open

Rode the track this morning with 5 other riders from work and all comments were "THIS TRACK IS AWESOME". There was a tractor near the old DH section laying some top soil, which did cover some parts of the track. Track is very smooth, which allows for a very good clean run. If you have not been out on this track yet, saddle up the bike and get out there.

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.
Please do not post comments with such information - post a new update with the link above.

Good, reliable heart rate monitor

Hi all,

I am on the look out for a good reliable heart rate monitor. Can anyone recommend one? The one I have now (Sigma PC15) drops out all the time which gives me the shits. Maybe one around $150-$250 mark. I have had a look at the Polar ones but there are so many to choose from. I would like one with a stopwatch function but most of all one that doesn't drop out.

Thanks

Olympic Hangover........

Knowing that there are a fair few 'poms' on this site (being one myself) I thought I would share this....
Lots of cyclists on here, so it is certainly relevant material to the site Eye-wink

I was lucky enough to get back to London for the Games, and I must say, it was incredible.
Hope you enjoy the vid - whether you are Pom, Aussie, or whatever...
