Spring must be close - first snake spotted
Arrived at Ourimbah at midday on Sat, settting up bike next to the car and noticed a small brown snake enjoying the sunshine in the grass about 2 metres away !

Yellomundee Regional Park update for 06 Aug
Rode Yellowmundee yesterday. Damage from the heavy rains earlier this year is still evident... lots of work still ahead of the crew in some parts and it was good to see trail closed signs with encouragements to 'ride sustainably'.
On the upside, the section heading into the creek crossing looks like it has received some TLC and was a blast. Nice to be able to see the river too, now that the lantana infestation has been removed.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 05 Aug
Trail is in great condition. Slightly damp in a couple of the lower sections but easily avoidable. It makes a change not to have to spend an hour cleaning the bike when I got home.
I'd forgot how good Ourimbah's trails are, I'll be back again soon!
