Terrey Hills update for 03 Dec
Pretty busy out there today with plenty of riders out the morning. A couple of damp spots but on the whole pretty dry, the sandy sections in particular very dry and soft.

Wheel shape
Today I noticed that my front and back wheels tend to be slightly out of shape. Every time the wheel goes round there tends to be 2-3mm of movement. Also my breaks seem to be putting on a little resistance however does not seem much. Is there any point taking the bike into the store to get straightened?

Racing Ralph, finally tubeless thanks to 'hostile monk'
while i had my rear wheel out today i thought i'd give the tubeless racing ralph a last chance. tried 'hostile monk's trick with the tie down strap around the tyre and the whole thing went up so easily I felt like a fool for mucking around with it for so long before.
so, if you ever have issues with getting a tubeless tyre to pop, forget about compressor, servo etc just get a tie down strap, some soapy water, track pump and you're done.

Graveyard quite muddy, I would avoid it. Little bit wet here and there in low areas, otherwise fine.

Area after the creek is a bit wet but the rest is perfect.

DT Swiss RWS Thru Bolt - Report
hi guys,
couple weeks ago I was asking which thru bolt to get for a scott scale hard tail and i said i would report back once installed.
so here we go. took a little longer after CRC sent me a 100mm QR instead of the thru bolt, but to be fair, exchange and refund was pretty painless. also in the meantime jenson had received new stock and it was cheaper there anyway.
