Not as bad as I thought
Ok when we first got right into riding me and Della were hitting Hwalls pretty much every day. At least twice a week the ride up would turn into a race. Back then our best time was 11.25
Considering the amount of riding I've been doing and the fact I'm carrying an extra 15kg I'm pretty happy with a 12.05 at the moment.
My goal is to beat the 11.25 by the end of summer.

Hassans Wall Rd Hill Climb
Lets face it a group ride up Hassans often turns into a bit of a race but it's hard to keep that intensity when you are on your own.
Here your chance to keep a record for pushing yourself.
The challenge starts at the wooden Hassans Walls reserve sign near the first speed bump before you get onto the dirt and finishes at the (broken) sign on the left of the top intersection.
Rags To Rich's
Rags to Rich's.
Clockwise from the train line up to the Bicentennial trail is a tough little climb.
1 or 2 tight corners but mostly wide open stuff. No long climbs some short pinchy stuff and false flat.
Anti clockwise the trail transforms into a fast open, off chamber grinfest

Going fastest on the last lap
Tuesday night race. Wasn't feeling too crash hot. I'd buried myself the previous race and with a distinct lack of fitness hadn't really recovered.
Was going to take it easy but pig headedness kicked in + the new section was sooooo much fun I could help myself.
Still, was able to pull and 8.15 on my last lap, 15seconds better than any of the previous 4 laps... Thanks largely to Brett Mac who was storming home behind me.
track should get faster as it beds in

Clockwise Short track Challenge

Lidsdale State Forest update for 06 Jan
The main compound on the north side of the highway is being logged so it is now a no go zone.
South side trails within the hardwood are still good and we are making arrangements to get a permanent venue on that side of the highway.
