Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 25 May
still nice & dry!-rain has only got rid of dust in most places-but BE CAREFUL of machines at shitworks gates & on many firetrails as some work has been done which has given them soft sections & some new big waterbars!

Singleton MTB track update for 21 May
Erosion works have been completed, track is ridable if you don't mind a bit of choose your own adventure through the bulldozed sections. Please do not pull down any fences they will have crossing built over them in about 2 weeks. Also please do not park inside the TSR if the gate is open. There was a case of this while the work was going on and the riders cut the chain on the gate to get out when the workers locked them in at the end of the day. The landowner was not very happy about this. The TSR is also only open during daylight hours, there is to be no night riding on the track. We are trying to organise signage with a map and some rules to go up at the steps.

Someone has been working on Killingworth trails
I live at Killingworth and used to ride the trails here years ago. I have not ridden my MTB out here for several years until this morning. Someone has been replacing the sagging/dangerous wire mesh bridges with new wooden ones, and some bog holes have been filled with rocks/logs to make them ridable again. Whoever is doing the work I thank you, because the trails are ridable and fun again. The trails are still dry weather only though, and the usual 4WD and trail bike damage still remains. Keep up the good work.

Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 08 May
all good on the trails today-just keep an eye for a long Green Tree snake up on Q-Loop where it comes down to the quarry gate!!

Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 05 May
I'm going with green, the majority of the trails I rode today were fine (shaft, S&L, reload, seismic, quarry, kennys, surfers, easy). Only issues on De Luge.
A few small puddles here and there nothing major though.
Here's to some more sunshine!

Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 03 May
Just came back from a night jaunt- shaft slippery, twisties is red , didn't even look at reload and just went straight back up the firetrail
Standing puddles though is fairly minimal so will dry by the weekend. Kennys wasn't altogether too bad, so it will recover as well.
There must have been a fair bit more rain this morning than I noticed
