Friday freeloaders!
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
Anyone freeloading on friday and interested to heading out to Yarramundi, I'll be there. The forecast has shown very little real rain fall in the area and not a lot expected this week, maybe the odd shower and friday to be sunny! I'll keep an eye over it the rest of the week.
Just going to string a few loops together over the course of an hour or two, just bike time before next weeks Rocky Trial 4hr!
just another manic menai
Lucas heights community school Old Illawarra rd Barden ridge (next to sports field)
xc ride covering several different loops through a few areas including some north shore stuff, fairly technical ride at a moderate+ pace mainly about having fun,not a beginers ride .but good for testing your skills
Sunday noon: Duckholes / Centre ride
Terrey Hills Shops
We're doing an easy Terrey Hills (Duckholes Centre) cruise with 2 mates, starting at 12:00 (noon) from Terrey Hills shops.

Oaks up and back
Glenbrook park entrance
An Oaks up and back ride, going up via Euroka and Bennetts ridge up to the Woodford entrance gate. Taking in the single track on the return journey, technical bit at the end is optional.
Meet at the park entrance for a 9.00 start.
Who's in ?
Orimbah for the ones who have had a few weeks off the bike due to rain
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here).
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where a there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB sign here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
Due to all the wet whether and other commitments if have been off my bike for about a month or so and want to ease back into it with one of my favorate trails. This is not for beginners even though its mostly ridable, there are some long down hill sections and i only really want to be waiting at the top of hill (or people waiting for me at the top of hills).
Plan on doing 2 laps and time will tell if i can get a 3rd in.
Duck Holes / Centre / Perimeter and Long trails Social / Easy Training Ride
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
I'm turning 21 again (for the 20+somethingth time!) so I reckon that's a good excuse to stretch the legs.
This will be a social ride, and will suit those with some off-road riding experience, but perhaps not those still within their first half-dozen off-road rides.
So come and celebrate me getting older!
Friday morning @ ''Cascades''
End of Wyatt Ave, Belrose - this is on the East side of Garigal National Park.
Would like to ride the 4 gates or something similiar. Flexible on the route. About 2 hrs riding.
Duck + Centre Then in Reverse?
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
I'm going a bit crazy with this weather. Planning on doing Duck & Centre and then in reverse. I think these are the best option after all this rain.
Glenrock Explore
Corner of Pacific Highway and Fernleigh Loop, Adamstown Heights
As discussed, I'll be in the area on the long weekend and keen to ride here as I haven't ridden here before. Hopefully this rain eases off and gives some time for the track to dry enough. I'll have to take the advise of the locals closer to the date regarding track condition.
