Stolen Rare Norco 29er -- please look out for it -- photo attached!
Hi all,
Last night, someone broke into my lockup garage in my apt building and stole 3 mountain bikes.
One is my (expensive) favourite son: an Orange and Black Norco Revolver 29er -- you can't miss the paint job and its a pretty rare bike.
Please respond to this forum or to me directly if you happen to see one like it on the trails or advertised for used sale anywhere.
Thanks in advance for your help!
The attached is a stock photo -- I don't have a photo of mine. Bought it from The Bike Shed Mortdale -- it's 2012 Norco Revolver 1 29er model, 17.5" frame.

Just found that post in one of my *bored at work* blogs:
Overnight Rides
I got a message from a friend asking for any suggestions for places to do a multi day ride where they take tents and camp. Me being the race junkie I am, doing those types of rides are about the last thing on my mind, and I have no idea myself where a good place to do such a ride is but was wondering if anyone had any ideas of a good overnight (I guess one or two days) ride and how to do it. Thoughts that jump to mind are Northern Blue Mtns (the Bells Line side) and GNR up north to Bucketty, but are there any ideas of whether this is worthwhile?
Cheers, Tristan
Clover, Sydney Cycling, Daily Telegraph and Media Watch.
Just caught the end of the article on Media Watch last night.
Check it out. http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcripts/s38...
I don't normally read the DT but the coffee shop I buy coffees at has it so I do flick through and did notice the articles there and was pretty amazed by what they were saying.
Anyway, I realise it's going over the same old same old, but thought it worth a post to see what folk thought.
Mini pump lost
No biggie guys but did anyone find a mini-pump between Frenchs Forest and Roseville yesterday or today?

Road riding...why bother.

Looks like the bad drivers of Sydney are migrating North...
Plastic election signs
Would that interested any trail builders or clubs if I/we gather some of those 'eye polluting' plastic election signs?
Swooping Magpies... are cable ties the answer?
Like me, magpies tend to be born in September but luckily my parents didn't dive bomb everyone who came near me when I was a baby. Unfortunately one of the little critters seems yo have made a nest on one of the main roads near me and on two occasions been observed to physically attack people's helmets. I've seen people put long cable ties over their helmets in an effort to deter the nasty things away. Can anyone vouch as to whether it actually works or any other ideas on avoiding nasty surprises with black and white feathers?
