Croesus Track
Rode the Croesus track last weekend on the West coast of the South Island NZ. Most of the parks there are Forest Parks so seems they are all rideable. There's a whole heap of much more technical terrain available. I think it's definitely a destination to look into but weather would be a huge deterrent - it is the wettest place in NZ. Apparently when wet some of these are un rideable. NZ is really world class in terms of alternatives now. They have apparently just finished the Taupo trails - that's single track around the whole of Lake Taupo. It's a pretty easy long weekend too.

Brand new Shimano XT 2x10 drive train with silver cranks

Thompson seat post and stem (black)
Fi:zik Gob saddle (brand new)
Continental Rubber Queen tyres (brand new)
Give a kid a cheer
Went for a ride around the Dam this arvo/evening.
Map legend explanation please
Could somebody educate a newbie as to the meaning of the coloured dots (brown, yellow, etc) alongside the trails lists. Thanks, Peter.
Not a ride
I was going to head out tomorrow morning about 7.30-8 to do some tracks around Terrey Hills - I'm not following a set plan so may have some stops and back ups and wrong ways. Starting at Mona Vale the Nursery opposite Cascades. Will be out for 3(ish) hours and tackling some technical track. Anyone keen PM me before 8 tonight.
Manly dam condition
Does anyone know the status of the dam? Last twitter update from warringah council was that it was still open but that was 24 hours ago.
Whistler?
Hi Guys
I've got a trip coming up where I will have 4 days spare to get from Toronto to Redmond so am planning to divert via Whistler for a few days. Does anyone have experience there that can provide a bit of a feel for the style of riding and tips, must do's and things to avoid?
I gather it's much more of an all mountain park so it will be a challenge for me who is more XC and pedalling oriented but it sounds like great fun. The giveaway is on their rental page where they consider a trance to be a XC bike before you move into the 'real' bikes
cheers

Every bit helps
Hello all
I received this email this evening from a riding buddy in Addlaide. Essentially it's a call to arms to help all riders of all disciplines.
Hello,
I'm sending you this email because you ride a bike or you're a MAMIL or somehow part of the cycling community... and my friend Adam needs some support for his project which is aimed to help cyclists.
