The recent push for more and more entry level trails might be great for introducing new riders to the sport, but let's not forget that mountain biking isn't supposed to be easy, safe, or quick to master
ideal MTB track for beginners
Hi all,
my girlfriend is very interested in getting into the sport of mountain biking however she has very Lil confidence and experience riding a bike at the moment.
where would you guys recommend as the perfect track to learn and practice on?? We live in South west Sydney. I'm thinking somewhere not too technical and without too many massive hills for her.
thanks in advance for your feedback.
Richie Porte pays it forward
A good story about making a contribution. Some interesting takeouts about development opportunities for mountain bikers in there too.
Rotorua accommodation
Does anybody have any recommendations for accommodation in Rotorua? 3 or 4 middle aged blokes - would prefer close to town.
Thanks in advance. Scott.
Rotovegas
Howdy all
I'm looking to do a trip to Rotorua later this year with the youngsta when he finishes his HSC, probably week 1 of December. We're more into XC than the DH end of the spectrum, although if there's any descending to be done I'm sure he wouldn't say no to being shuttled to the top.
Are there any mtb tours / operators that people can recommend? Have you found it better to BYO bike or hire there?
Thanks for your help
