New Merida Big7 CF 5000, four rides old cracked frame. Warranty job so all good. Dropped it back to store of purchase before Xmas. 4 months later get my bike back with new frame. Yep 4 months. Am I being unreasonable in having the s!@#s with this timeframe? I wonder if Jason English would have to wait the same period of time to have his frame replaced
Commute advise
Hey guys, looks like I might have a new commute to Redfern starting soon.
I've never needed to ride across town before.
Anyone got a good route from the Bridge to Abercrombie St?
Obviously I'd like to as much off road or away from traffic as possible.
Cheers peeps.
Yallumundi
Thinking of doing the club round there tomorrow just wondering the quickest way there from the Northern Beaches. Also is it easy to find ?
cheers
RIP Mark Dunlop
An absolute tragedy.
If all else failed and I felt like my life had totally collapsed around me, I know I could escape from everything by heading to the Redwoods - where could this guy go?
I had many a chat with Mark as he drove me up in the Shuttle. He brought untold joy to my life, there would be thousands of mountain bikers who feel the same.
Thanks for everything mate.
RIP
Irony at its Best
Isn't it satisfying to see just how much awareness is being made to keep us safe out there. I guess it was really asking too much to keep the sign out of the bike line...
Lycra
Lot of Lycra out at Kowen today, looked like the Tour de France blokes were tripping about the trails.
Lefty tool
Has anyone got a lefty tool (refer pic) I can borrow or buy. It's for the green bit in the foto. Cheers Minter.
I'm not in prison!
Well, it's the first of March, and despite being on the bike for 45 minutes, I didn't get pulled over to be checked for ID, or put in handcuffs for not having a bell on my bike. However, I was passed at close range by an impatient driver, and nor was he immediately taken to court.
Auckland to Rotorua by road?
A group of us are traveling to Rotorua and have found that there are no longer direct flights from Sydney to Rotorua,so we are flying into Auckland then driving ourselves in a 12 seater bus.
Can anyone advise of good trails or sights to see between AKL and ROT?
I'm guessing it's just best to go straight to Rotorua and get into the forest..
Any Rotorua, Mororangi trail or Lake Taupo tips also welcome..
May be a silly question
I've a mate in town tomorrow who wants to go riding Saturday morning.
Can anyone suggest somewhere that isn't too faraway from Manly (up to an hour away) and that is rideable without snorkel and flippers. Some of the track status information seems a little dubious
Thanks
