Manly Dam Ride Friday 10th November 5:30pm

Ok,

How about a good start to the weekend and have a run around Manly Dam...if there is enough light maybe two laps....now that uncharted territory for me but i'm willing to give it a try.

Meet at the Manly Vale Public School carpark on Gibbs St in Manly Vale for a 5:30pm start.

If your coming please let me know by posting, txt or a call on the day i guess.

Hope to see some of you there.

My number is on my profile should you need it for friday.

Cheers
Sam

p.s. Weather permitting of course....if rain is about we may not ride, dont wish to ruin such a good trail....

Come and meet the in-laws

OK, so the trouble-n-strife gets home from her "work" jaunt around the land of the wrong white cloud Tuesday morning so that means I can finally get out for another ride.

Now I know its not the full moon yet but guess what, it is Halloween so what better thing to do than get out for a night ride and meet my in-laws, and any other ghoulies that may be out-n-about.

Wolves in the Mountains, Were!

After another great morning on the Oaks last Sunday, I will definitely be venturing into the mountains on the next full moon to enjoy this sweet track under the night sky.

When Sunday 4th 5th November, obviously at night, but time to be confirmed depending on train timetables and track work. (At the moment I can't do Friday or Saturday nights but if this changes would be happy to switch to either of these nights.) Probably aim to get to Woodford around 7 - 7.30

Where The Oaks Trail of course. Standard run, sorry Rob;-) Meet at Glenbrook station carpark, train to Woodford and then bliss back to the cars. Depending on who comes, and how everyones lights are holding up, we can bail back onto the road at the top of the last technical single track or maybe just go for it.

Novice

Hi, I am fairly new to MTB’ing; I’ve done the manly dam circuit twice and completed the red hill ride(so not a total novice but I certainly have a lot to learn).

I am very interested in a novice ride and was wondering if there is any coming up?

The Oaks October 22nd and November 5th, Day and Night options

Friday nights ride revealed that several of the "newer" more regular riders have not yet done the Oaks in the Blue Mountains. Discussion also turned to how great it would be as a night ride.

So here's my proposal.

Oriumbah Again this weekend

Hi there!!
I have been to Oriundah last Monday and had a fall in the Downhill track. Today I discovered I lost my pump in that fall, so I am going back this weekend. I am planning to get there after midday (around 13hs), ride until dust, stay overnight and keep riding on Sunday morning. Then to the beach in the afternoon. Beautifull beaches in the entrance, and good to keep up with the lady. Still have one more spare space in the car and room for another bike. Anyone interested give me a call 0403-892857. Otherwise hope to meet some of you there!!

Full moon...

OK!
Now, Rob has brought to my attention that this is a daggy suggestion but as we are going to farewell Brocky at Bathurst next weekend I wondered whether anyone would be at all interested in going for a moonlit ride (yes, I am still optimistic that there will be no cloud and no lights needed..!!!)
Anyway, next Friday night (6th I believe) is the proposed date...I am getting paranoid about missing a ride since when washing up last night I had a panic attack that I am not fit enough to do this Fling (well, half a fling) thing...

Mid-week ride

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone is interested in a mid-week ride, possibly Thurs 21st. I'm fairly new to Sydney and so far have only ridden Royal National Park and Terrey Hills- so anywhere new would be good. I would love to have a crack at Manly Dam, but understand it is probably closed at the moment.
Anyway, please drop me a line if keen,

Liam
