Back To Stromlo- *postponed due to weather :(
Back to the awesome DH at Stromlo, maybe check out a bit of XC stuff and the new begginers Dh, and take revenge on the mountain that ate gazza's arms up! Just a day trip for us, a couple of mates want to see it, i suggest bringing some lunch, we might confirm numbers and possibly hire a van/ute to make for continual shuttling action
All welcome, fun times!
*is now postponed due to weather and stuff perhaps for next sat...
Big BBQ Dh + Xc Day @ Ourimbah *note changed to the 20th
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
Big days of shuttles, pedalling and meat taking up a couple of bbq's and having a nice long day out at ourimbah- should be excellent times, all welcome just a fun day out! I will be supplying meat through work, but will need exact numbers confirmed at least 3 days prior so we can work out how much we will need- any suggestions welcome, vego's let me know too! ill check back later to confirm food and costs,
Cheers, Alex
Oxford Falls trailhead cleanup + ride
Meet and greet at the trailhead
Bring some gloves , garbage bags and your bike if you are riding after, should not take long to clean up the trailhead and not only will you appreciate it next time your up there but the local residence should be happy with a cleaner area and maybe think better of our tribe.
Then up to you if you ride XC loop or do some shuttle runs or the DH course I will be working that afternoon so depending on the time spent on cleanup will allow.
Manly Dam at night
To much fun last week not to do it again.
You know the drill, hope to see you there.

Terry Hills Tavern car park
Hi,
The usual....
Last week was quite enjoyable, good to see a few new people on the ride. We ended up doing Centre Track, Duck Holes and then a bit of perimeter trail there seemed to be a lot of water bars to cruise over.
I am keen to do the same again
See you there

Meeting in Cromer for +50km ride... Training for 100km Fling...
We are going on a ride this Saturday Morning at 9.30am, to do at least 50km, much more if everybody is feeling up to it... Training for the 100km Fling...
Approximate Ride plan:
Start at Cromer->Red Hill->Oxford Falls->Belrose->St Ives->Terrey Hills->Ingleside (Bahai Temple)-> Deep Creek -> Narrabeen Lake-> Cromer
Majority will be off-Road trails, some trail linking along roads. Plenty of fire trails, single track, downhills, and other fun stuff...
Bring some food, and plenty of water.
Moderate pace, not fast... just want to build up some km's, and enjoy the trails etc...
