Oxford Falls XC ride
Sorry for the late start you guys, but this was the only time available for me on Saturday.
I wanted to do an intermediate level ride at Oxford Falls. We will do the standard trails which may include (but no guarantees!) - nursery rhymes, moon rock, main loop, road to nowhere/somewhere, etc.
Park at the Morgan Rd dirt carpark. Don't hesitate to call me if you're running late. I hope to see you all there.

Race is through Great Otway National Park, South-West Victoria. According to the site, it starts in Apollo Bay.
100km enduro believed to be one of the hardest around.
There and back again
Hi,
I know that there is another race on on Sunday and most of your are doing this. But I'm pretty keen to ride up the oaks trail and then back down it again. Riding up makes the descent much more enjoyable! 
Ride times will probably be 2:20(ish) up and 1:20 (ish) back down again. I did this last Sunday and it was pretty cool so I will probably go again...
Launch from the Glenbrook station, ride up the firetrail to the gate at Woodford and then enjoy the descent back down again.

Lunar Eclipse Tuesday 28th Aug - Abandoned
Anyone think a night ride would be interesting Tuesday night to view this rare(ish)event?
I know there is a ride 29th but this could be additional and more social ie <15Km/h with a beer or two with snacks while the event is taking place.
Will need a good easterly view..Thinking the large rock platform looking east over the golf course.
If its crap weather it might be simply a ride or will cancel.
The lunar eclipse will start at about 6.50pm on Tuesday August 28 and by 7.50pm the moon will be totally obscured by the Earth's shadow.

Hi Everyone,
I'm out of action for the next few weeks so after a few inquires of where is our ride this week. I thought I'd better get another one on the calendar.
Since its soo close to the Mont and Fling etc etc and it seems like the pack has become a bit roidy. So if we get enough people we could split into two groups???? One at 15km/hr and the other at 20km/hr? Dare i suggest that?? Some suggestions could be.
The fast pack can meet and arrive early and do the same track or
The fast pack can simply do a longer route!
But we will all meet up for a beer afterwards!

Primelea Picnic Area Western Syd. Regional Park Horsely Drive and Cowpasture Drive last parking lot
Something different! Primelea Picnic Area, chase some bunnies around the bush, up to Sugarloaf Ridge, down the otherside, yo-yo up and down the hills a couple of times, steeplechase back to where we started. All trail, 1 km of blackstuff. All welcome.

A couple of laps of the XC, a bit of and explore and a downhill run or 2 is calling me back to Ourimbah's goodness all are welcome of all fitnesssss , just a fun cruise around.
*sorry its the same day as the mooney ride, i just got a bad feeling about mooney at the mo!
