Time to return the social
20km/hr, what tha? Time to return the social aspect of the midweek night ride. Where better to do that than Oxford Falls.
Close enough to the Tavern to head up for a beer after or bring one along for mid ride refreshments.
Start with Moon Rocks then back up to XC. Option of Rd to somewhere or little moab depending on group size and timing.
Welcome aboard Caro, expect to see you there now you have the lights.
Time for you to come out again Tien, and bring your wallet
Ev, where have you been, come and have some fun.
Mt York
Imperial park Mt Victoria
OK this is a CTMBC ride but open to everyone (you'll need to sign the disclaimer but there are no entry fees). It is part of the Celebrations of the 175 anniversary of the opening of Victoria Pass.
There will be plenty of things to do and see besides the ride, including Historical re-enactments at both Mt Victoria and Heartly Historic village so use it as an excuse to bring to family/better half up to the mountains for a bit of culture (the duck off for a ride while they are not looking).
Wisemans Ferry - Great Northern Road there and back fun and games
Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.
East Ferry car park - I'll be in the green Freelander.
Planning to go up Commission Track, up through Ten Mile Hollow to the top end of GNR, then back down GNR's rock gardens and Shepherds Gully. Should be around 45 kms
All welcome, see it as mainly a training ride so will be trying to keep a reasonably constant pace if my old legs are up to it!!
cheers
Mark
Tuesday night ride
NB: Meet at the shops NOT the Tavern!
Can't do Wednesday night, daughter number 2's birthday and am going stir crazy so I will be riding Terry Hills Tuesday night.
Depending on Tuesday weather I will either be doing Duck Hole / Centre or the usual Perimeter / Long combination.
Hope I'm not alone but will be there as long as its not raining.

Dirty Double 'Cross Part II
Arcadia
I don't normally spam my club events but since Rob has a new bike (http://nobmob.com/node/2901) I thought it appropriate that we all encourage him to get out and use it as was designed (a short race with some obstacles and beer consumption with 'Cross dressing encouraged). The CX race will start at 2:30 and will go for 40 minutes + lap. Of course in the morning there are more tradional XC races.
For those of you not familiar with CX have a look at these links

Terrey Hills night ride
Terrey Hills Tavern
No one has put up the usual Wednesday night ride so I thought I'd put it on the calendar.
I really enjoyed the weekend's ride on Duck Holes/Waratah/Centre tracks. Perhaps we can do a combination of those or if not then the usual Perimeter and Long trails. We can always decide on the night.
See you there
Ben
Centre/ Duck/ Perimieter/ Long?
Hanging out for a ride today, but it's just a bit damp everywhere.
So, old faithful wet ride option has come up. Leave 1pm from Terrey Hills shops. We'll ride Centre/Duck/Waratah maybe loop or Perimeter (prolly from School) and Long.
These trails survive the rain the best, so will be there no matter what.
