Lake Parramatta Reserve update for 10 Apr

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Otherwise fine minus the works taking place for 6 weeks in the wildlife sanctuary access to Hunts creek.
Hunts also has some water draining into the single track behind the falls from an unknown source. Almost like riding through a pool.
Most rides are around the main reserve anyway.

Mount Annan Botanic Garden update for 10 Apr

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Once the rain came the perfect track took a half hour to become unrideable. The fast clay turned so slippery I couldn't stay upright on the bike. Even at low speed traversing a hill on slight incline I wouldn't turn sideways.

Don't bother riding there until the super gluggy clay drys out.

I am doing it for fun first ! If someone is interested by the race drop me an email quickly cause the race is in May and I don't want to miss it.

Hope to hear from you guys.

My new ride - Marin Mount Vision 5.7 + review

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

My riding style has changed a bit over the past 6 months. Becoming more trail/all mountain orientated. Due to this my Norco 6 had become a bit redundant and difficult to ride on those longer trail epics. Enter the need for a new bike.

Since my light free-riding days are all but over, I still do like the occasional 4-5ft drop. I basically needed a do it all bike. It needed to be able to climb like a goat, ride trails all day long and descend techy rock gardens etc with ease.

Winmalee update for 08 Apr

Area:
Winmalee
Status:
Green/Open

Rolling really well at the moment.
A few Boggy patches in the normal spots through Bluegum that need some attention but otherwise all good.
Bee's Nest is grippy at the moment and ridable even for a hack like me.
