CCOMTB XC Rd 2 - Better Result This Time
A better race result for me, given that I crashed badly last time. CCOMTB had slightly different course this time round for Round 2, big crash at the start as Dylan mentioned and then a hold up at the first rock step up meant we were walking, lost some time on that unfortunatly and then cause I had not pre ridden the course I didnt know exactly where I was going.
I felt pretty good on the climbs, however I know my technical skills are letting me down some what, so I need to improve on them.

MEETING POINT IS DIFFERENT TO THE NORMAL RIDE DATABASE. Meet just past the Primary school at the end of Grays Point Rd, grays Point
Was planning on riding for a couple hrs, doing the Full lap of the RNP
Riding pace will be brisk with limited stops, terrain will be fairly friendly and not to technical.

Sub 30 on its way
Second hot lap for today. Did it after setting the record for perimeter/long trails. Well and truley felt the burn by the end but still set a pb. Might have to have a crack at this one first next time
Dammit...15 sec slower...
Gave it a solid nudge. Best time ever down to the hydro lab (17:50) and to the golf course (sub 30 min).
It was looking good for sub 40 min but ran out of steam up the top on the single track.
Some cardio training is in order me thinks.
Tried out one of those micro keyring cameras, too. Not really happy with the angle of the shot but I'll get it up on youtube anyway (when I figure out how to edit it....). Need a bigger SD card, too. It filled up the 2GB one by ~24 mins.

For those that commute this is encouraging. When talking about footage from helmet/handlebar cameras...
Police say they are willing to use the footage as evidence.
... although the police probably won't do anything unless you are hit and injured

Basically - watch out when riding down the power line easement near the Treatment Works - after BJs.
