Manly Dam update for 23 Oct
Just back from my Sunday morning ride around the Dam.
All clear - the track is as dry as it is going to get. No obstacles or problems anywhere that I was riding.
Despite the dramatic smoke from yesterday's hazard reduction burn there was only a very small amount of burnt ground that I could find, off to the right well before Kalaui Street, which you smell rather than see. Plus they've cleared the trees under the big power lines above the Golf Club near the water tanks and microwave towers. These have no effect on the ride at all.

Chiltern Track update for 22 Oct
I would say this is more red then amber. They have started grading this and where they have done they have created 2 massive mud holes the full width of the track. The mud is soft and ankle deep so I'm hoping they will be fixing it. Once you are past what they have done up the top the trail is nice and dry so go figure...

Wingello State Forest update for 21 Oct
The yellow loop has been closed due to logging and there is a section of the red loop that has had a detour.
Other than that the trails seemed really dry and not quite as much grip as in the past.
