The warm up to the FULL MOON RIDE
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Back by popular demand!!!!
Owing to the good weather starting, its time we organised another one of these.
Start point will be from the Terrey Hills car park - opposite the shops.
Good fun social ride, all welcome.
Be ready to ride from 7:30pm, if you need to set yourself up - come earlier.
If there are enough attendees to this ride - we'll hold the real Full Moon ride the week after - might even start from the Tavern like the good ole days.

Terrey Hills update for 19 Oct
Perimeter via Japanese school / Echuga Rd - Perimeter is drying out nicely.
Cullamine Trail is currently being graded but not yet bedded in so makes riding a little hard going due to unpacked surface.
Do you have more information?
If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.
Please do not post comments with such information - post a new update with the link above.

Weekday rides during business hours?
Hey all,
Does any like minded people have their weekdays free to hit the trails? Just started working in the late evening so am free to go off road once or twice a week.
I'm thinking it generally needs to be one of Sydneys more local trails (manly dam, Appin, mt Annan, Royal National park, parramatta lakes etc.) but yeah keen to hook up for rides.

Kanangararara thingy
Going into this ride I had not had a lot of training with only the one mountain bike ride since my “hospital” exit at the SRAM single track thingy back in September and a handful of lazy road ride commutes to work.
Oberon is a interesting town (featured in the flame trees music vid?) and I was expecting a crowd there on Saturday afternoon, but alas it was pretty calm so we registered and as it was an cracker of an afternoon, we headed out to see the race start and see the sights.

Trees down on Perimeter trail from Echunga
Anyone know why the start of Perimeter from Echunga has so many trees down and strategically placed to potentially injure a rider. I moved a couple, but not all!

God I'm unfit. This can only get better.
Always provide excuses before the ride.
Old, overweight, unfit, flu, etc.
. . and to think I taught Brad all he knows . .
