Travel insurance for overseas competitions
Hi,
I'm entering my first international event, the Vanuatu Adventure Race. I'm having trouble finding a suitable travel insurance and I'm hoping someone here has a suggestion. All of the policies I have looked at (>20 of them!) have specific exclusions for anything resulting from participation in any race other than a foot race. As an adventure race includes mtb (and kayaking etc) these policies won't cover me for any medical treatment, evacuation or income loss if I am hurt during the race.
I'd rather be skiing!
Best snow season in 10 years.

I went up there with three of my friends and we came second to a team that met through nobmob and by the end we were nackered but we all really enjoyed it. my best lapped time was just oevr 30 mins so that was pretty good.
Cascades update for 19 Jul
Rode the track early afternoon and a bit damp with a sprinkling of small puddles in some areas. Bizarrely even with the rain last weekend, the creek crossings are slightly lower than the last few weeks.
However a 4WD has been through and gouged a few big potholes in the clay along Cascades trail, & created a couple of major ruts on the Bare Ck trail.
Other than that, all in good condition.

Wanted: Girls 14" or 16 " wheel bike to suit 4-5 Y/old
Does anyone out there have a Girls 14 or 16 inch wheel bike that they no longer need? My littlest one has grown out of her 12 inch Specialized Hot rock and needs something a bit bigger - she's a big 3 1/2. I'm after something with training wheels thats a little bit bling and preferably pink or purple. In Newcastle but can travel to Central coast, Hunter, Sydney.
