Terrey Hills update for 18 Jul
Perimeter and long is wet, mostly damp with a few ruts developing. Bike needs a wash but over all, a great ride tonight!

Bermagui Dirtsurfers Mountain Bike Park is Closed for Logging
Anyone thinking of a MTB trip down the South Coast can kiss this excellent XC track off your list.
Unfortunately the day has finally come that the mountain bike park is going to be logged. We have been given notice by Forest NSW that logging is expected to commence on 18 July 2011, we have not been informed what the completion date is to be.
First 4 hr race
I'd only been to Awaba once before and had forgotten how much climbing there is there. Four laps in four hours + had me pretty well spent. Stacked on the first lap coming into the downhill left hand turn just before the cinderblock descent (wet, greasy, going too fast after finally getting past some people, slightly aged Kenda Small Block 8's) and lost my chain and a bit of confidence. Then at my "pace" it was a bit hard to keep a rhythm going once the faster riders started lapping, as there are so few spots for an easy pass.
Akuna Ball Hill Climb - MWCC
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Illawong Bay car park
Since the Akuna Bay Hot Lap Challenge has been a focus for many. MWCC have just announced their Akuna Bay Hill Climb TT.
Taking place on 28th August, a good opportunity to race for proper.
North Turramurra update for 18 Jul
This is more just for the section up and around Golden Jubilee oval, everywhere else I went is good. Due to the construction work it is very muddy around the oval, riders should just be careful around that area and be prepared to hose the bike down after! The new rock garden is looking good though, not particulary long or technical but a lot of fun, can't wait to try it once they finish it.

Bobbin Head update for 18 Jul
Some muddy patches here and there, and a couple of the hairpins have some loose gravel which is a bit tricky to navigate, but otherwise the trail is in good condition.

Royal National Park update for 17 Jul
rode from 9am-1pm today. Full track can still be ridden.
still ride-able but allot of wet spots for you to lose traction and slide off.
A few places where its pooled up and you have to pass slowly
take caution !
