Manly Dam after the rains

I'm guessing there may be a bit of standing water on the trails!

Galston Gorge. Third time lucky.

When:
Sunday, 31 July, 2011 - 07:15

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Quarry Road Track (Berowra Valley)
Meeting Point:

End of Stewart Ave, Hornsby

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

Let's see if we (I) can finally get one of these rides in without it being poured out.

Just the usual Quarry Road return, rather brisk pace - need to get back quickly for my Year 12 exam block the two weeks suceeding, but am anxious to get back on the bike!

Nice And Easy

Great to be all sorted and back on the bike racing again took it real easy and enjoyed the ride.

Where was everyone I know the tour was on but my 3 hours sleep was more than enough to get through.

Wow 7th in C grade got to be happy with that after two weeks with the flu staying up to watch the tour before the race and no riding for the last few months.

Lane Cove National Park update for 24 Jul

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Rode through from De Burgh's bridge to the Belinda Cres exit on Devlins Ck track. Causeways are all under 300mm deep and rideable (except the damaged one on Devlins). Track is very wet and showing little sign of drying out except up high. Might be OK by next weekend if it stays fine and sunny for a week.

Wet, wet, wet. Not surprisingly. Standing water, running water, wet soil. A tree down across the track at the bottom near the Lady Game Dr link.

Kincumber Reserve update for 24 Jul

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Wet up top but fast draining on some of the fire trails down to Fern Valley (wet at bottom) and Glassons. One of the few spots to actually ride on the Coast after the 260mm of recent rain...
