29er Tyre

This is the tyre I'm running on my 29er. Its a Kenda Karma 29 x 1.9. I'm running it tubeless with 60g of sealant. So far I like them and at 539g they seem really good Smiling

Terrey Hills update for 19 Jun

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

7:00am Sun 19th - Rode from Japanese School along to Long Trail and then Cowan trail. A lot of water and bog-like sections along Perimeter. One or two sections of Cowan were big wet but for most well drained and fun to ride. One the way back along Perimeter, came across one rider who had decided to save his drivetrain and turn around. You may want to consider giving Perimeter a miss for a few days while it dries out. [edit] **I forgot to add it was the wettest I have ever seen this section of Parimeter in over 3 years riding there**

29er HT Ride Review So Far...

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Thought I would give an update of how the new bike is going. Having never owned a hard tail before and been riding bikes with 120mm+ travel for the past few years it was a bit of a gamble going for what I did. After a bit of internet research, no test rides at all, I decided on the Agogo 29er HT. The reason I went for this one was purely I loved the way it looked and I thought that's as good of a reason for me to go for it Sticking out tongue

Craig Gordon in hit-and-run?

It has just been posted up on Rotorburn that Gordo got hit by a car in a hit-and-run yesterday somewhere west and broke his back and is presently in hospital. Apparently has feeling back in his hands and feet but can't remember much.

If true, please accept my wishes and prayers for a quick recovery, mate.

If anyone can confirm and has more details, would be grateful if you could post some info.

Handlebars and Stems - Help!!

I have been looking at this handlebar http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/HB402A00-...

It would be going on to an Anthem X 29er but it is a 25.4mm and is a 2009 model. It looks to me like all the bars these days are 31.8mm. Does this make a difference and should I avoid this bar. Clearly I am very clueless in this area so any expert help is appreciated.

Cheers
Ian

Downhill sniggle - part 2

A fast blast through the trees over various humps and bumps - it links together to form a rollercoaster of trail - some of the best sniggle at Mt Annan.

Another creek crossing

Overlooking a creek crossing from a bluff, this steep downhill picks up speed quickly, then crosses a rock covered creek into a rock garden climb.
