Reason for selling: Originally I bought this for a serious attempt at a solo 24hr, and have since realized I can't do a serious 24 and prefer SS or CX silliness.

SOCIAL Ourimbah Nightride!
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.

Spring Fat Tyre Festival - Another team.
Is anyone interested in forming another team for this event? I was originally going to do a pair but my mate has pulled out? Anybody interested in forming a pair? Although I read somewhere that this race would be really tough with just 2 people - didn't do it last year so not sure if this is true..... That being so then a threesome?

Magura Julie Disc Brake adjustment
Had some scratching noise commuting to work today on my front brake.....
had a look at the base of the bridge.. 1 front pad had worn out...
the other had about 3-4mm left on it...
so metal on metal scratching from one side...
normally I'd adjust callipers to centre on the disc.. but my Magura Julie's bolt straight onto the frame/fork... so there is no in out movement? So I cannot adjust the callipers onto the disc.. how annoying is that.
FS: 2008 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp
For sale is my 2008 model Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp (Large). I purchased it in April and since then it has been ridden a total of 8 times and less than 150km. I havent ridden it since July as I'm doing a postgraduate degree at Uni and never find the time to get out and ride anymore. Not a single scratch on the bike and barely even any dirt on the tyres. This is pretty much a new bike and would suit someone who's after a new bike.
I paid $3499 for this 7 months ago - looking for $2499. May even throw in a pair of Specialized clipless shoes worth $150.

This is our race start, Rick got off stone motherless last. Notice the riders going off in the distance, spectators now crowding the start and Rick the race novice panicking because he still hasn't found his bike. Chris the bike handler is cool and calm, (well it's not his lap time that will be affected)
The great race
I had prepared for and thought about this race for so long I just couldn't wait to get going, so when I did I went too hard at the start, but it just felt effortless even though my heart rate didn't agree. One thing that was plain to see on my 1st lap (blue) and knowing the red lap from the 8hr was this course was not going to be easy to ride the full 24hrs, I sort of shrugged and thought I'll worry about that later.
