Funny: You know you are a cyclist, when...

You know you are a cyclist, when...

You pull up on the steering wheel of your car to go over a speed bump.

You see a fit, tanned, lycra-clad young woman ride by, and the first thing you check out is her bike...

You find yourself rapidly switching across four lanes of traffic to check out bikes on the back of a car...

You spend your time at work on the internet watching the weather ...

You mourn for your old junker bike when you get a new one.

You're driving you scope out the rock formations on the side of the road and think " I could ride that..."

Faster at night

I did not deal well with the het. My fastest time was the last lap when it was cooler.

It was Damed Hot

Reached up to 31 Degrees which made it very hard in the middle of the day. It slowed me right down.

Another Yeti 575

Pic taken on it's first ride. Talas 32 RLC's, Some Hope stuff, some FSA carbon blingage and some XT stuff. By far the best bike I have ridden, and it's very orange.

Perimeter Trail Condition?

It's likely I will be taking a newbie buddy on a ride at Terrey Hills tomorrow (Sep 14) so ask the question...

Did anyone ride there in the last week or so and was the Perimeter wet?

There was a lot of rain last weekend, but I'm imagining it will be OK in most spots by now, can anyone say otherwise?

Cheers!

P.S. Yeah, yeah - I would post a newbie ride, but... said buddy is a little bad with clocks so doubt we will be sticking to any particular time, and as is complete beginner who knows how long this will take! Eye-wink
