Bike cleaning????
The recent rain has made the trails very wet and very muddy! Does anyone have a suggestion on the best way to clean a very muddy bike?

Little Site Re-org
Further work after the Site Enhancements, you should now be seeing a slightly different site in some ways after the re-org.
The most useful new feature is rides calendar which shows ride meeting content. These are also listed on the next rides page. Probably the biggest change about this means the ride planning forums are now closed. I've created a new Tentative Planning forum for discussion that isn't concrete enough to make the ride meeting node type.
Also shifted around the blocks on the front page, and gave the rides list, latest forum topics and comments headlines on there.

Turn into 'Forest Ridge Drive' and stop after 50m or so at the first intersection.

This ride has the dubious(?) honour of being the first in our calendar. Will be trying to ride these trails:

recycling cool stuff.....
Had to laugh today...was just walking the streets and I saw this old bike locked up...
it caught my eye because it had this huge plastic box on the handle bars..
Closer inspection revealed it was an old analog cycle odometer with a needle speedo on it...like the ones that come on old stationary bikes.
Hey if it works ...why not? ; )

Beginners' Ride on Sunday 25 March
Anyone up for a beginners' ride Sunday anytime? I attempted the Mooney Mooney Creek trial last weekend much to the annoyance of the people who had to wait up for me! Toning it down a bit this weekend. I'm open to suggestions/advice. I'm looking for a trail that's not that hard technically, but happy to go for a long one and/or do climbs.

Anderson's Fire Trail and The Oaks - Sunday 25th
Bruce and I are going for the Anderson's and Oaks run on Sunday.
We will be catching the 6:52am train from Glenbrook.
