Training for 100km
Has anyone got any tips or training regimes they wouldn't mind sharing for someone who is really trying to get their fitness levels to the right standards to complete a 100km race. I only really have time for 1 ride a week as I normally work 6-7 days a week. Most of my fitness comes from the gym and exercise bikes which I understand is not ideal but am willingly to take any tips...

WSMTB Club XC Championships
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
The WSMTB Club XC Championships will be held at Yellomundee on Sunday 8 Dec. All welcome to race and podium! (but note only WSMTB members can win the Championships - see www.wsmtb.com for full criteria).
U10s event at 8.30am, U13s at 9am, and U15s and Seniors at 9.30am. Rego from 8am to 8.50am sharp.
BBQ by Yarramundi RFS - and each rider gets a voucher for a sausage sandwich and drink.

Night Riding - decent trails
Troops - just looking for general info on night riding and decent trails.
I was thinking of trying Muppets/sniggle etc. Is there any etiquette in this part of the world or just go for your life??

Rode this morning along with Sniggle etc. Surprisingly dry the odd wet patch but otherwise pretty good.

Convict and Capital Punishment Entries Open
For those that aren't aware, just letting everyone know that Capital Punishment entries (March 15th) opened several days ago and Convict 100 (May 3rd) entries open tomorrow... so take the big step and make up your mind whether to do these great rides. Wow... Come to think of it.
After crossing a tiny creek at Lake Parra. It pissed down for 10 mins. Went back to the creek to see it become a raging rapid!
