I'm sadly selling my first 'real' mountain bike as I've moved onto bigger wheels and this bike (as much as I love it) just doesn't deserve to be sat around not doing much. It's a great bike to ride. This was my first dual suspension bike after riding hardtails and I bought it in the UK before bringing it with me to Sydney in 2008. It is an iconic single pivot design which is still in use today and is built up with a great selection of components.
Details are as follows:
Santa Cruz Superlight Medium frame (Made in USA) - I believe it's a 2006 frame and is 26"

Mostly dry, just some puddles here and there. Creek crossings are getting pretty low too.

Manly dam trail maintenance
I've got a few free hours next Tuesday to get out on the circuit and do a bit of maintenance to make up for my wet run I did a week or so ago.
Of course I won't do anything without approval from you trail fairies out there.
Feel free to tell me what needs done and where. I was going to try smooth out the tyre ruts, replace some of the lost dirt washed out by the rain and drain out some puddles??

Some areas with standing water across the trail. Would be good to give it some time to dry although it's not enough to call it Red.

Cascades update for 26 Nov
Lots of new ruts and rocks so marking orange as a notice to knock some speed off on the descents first time out. Not too bad as far as standing water.

Degreaser
Looking at a cheaper alternative of buying all the time bottles of the already cheap Torpedo7 bike degreaser, but sick of paying freight all the time.
Searching online, seems that Simple Green is a popular product in the US. I can see Bunnings is selling this stuff.
AWABA trails - condition?
Just wondered if anyone can provide an update on the condition of Awaba? The existing update is weeks old.
