Riding Oxford falls Saturday 31st
Hi guys,
Just moved to Sydney from Wales & I have bought myself a giant glory 8, I've been told that Oxford falls is a good place so I was wondering if anyone is heading out there tomorrow morning that could show me the way round the place or somewhere Similar?

Wildflower Garden update for 30 Aug
Rode the sniggle through to Ryland today. All good, has been getting plenty of traffic though, so wearing in a few places. Met a baby brown snake just before the water crossing after you go round the back of the house.

Cascades update for 30 Aug
Rode down Lower Cambourne, up Quarry, down Quarry and up Cascades today. Still a few bits of water running over the track, but everything else is dry. Some work going on on the track from Linigen Pl through to Quarry near Mona Vale Rd. Tip truck and heavy machinery down there, so it may not be useable this weekend if they are still working.

Terrey Hills update for 30 Aug
There must be a broken pipe not far in from the Nerang entrance as there is a heap of water and it was flowing. Either this or one of the houses is draining a pool. Other than that and the horse paddock run off it was good this morning

Looking for ridiculously easy single track in the area
I've got a friend who loves MTB but hasn't been in years. He's out of shape, just out of surgery, etc. I'm looking for something with carparks at both ends and mostly downhill. If you have any recommendations please advise on bike requirements. Currently all he has is a 1980s rigid.
As a side note I'm on a Norco Bigfoot. Is there anything interesting to hit up in the inner west?

Yellomundee RP - track maintenance
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
WSMTB are holding a track maintenance morning at Yellomundee RP on Saturday 14 Sept, 8.30am. All welcome! Please bring loppers, shovels, spades, wheelbarrows etc. Wear boots and long trousers. Hat and gloves recommended.
We will be continuing our improvements to make the tracks more sustainable in the long term, plus a bit of regular maintenance.
BBQ lunch provided by WSMTB. Keep an eye out here and on the WSMTB FB pages for updates.
Red Hill update for 28 Aug
Went for a stroll this afternoon and its looking fairly good. The main trail leading up for the Academy still has the usual running water but much of the standing water has evaporated.
Driest I've seen it for many, many months.
