New Yellomundee toilet block and fresh landscaping

Long and Perim trails closing for 6 weeks from Sept 4
Did a night ride tonight and came across a few road barriers on Perim and Long advertising trail works from Wed Sept 4 until Oct 18th - the trail will be closed it said.
Something about creating a better trail for walkers, riders and bicycles.....anyone know what's up? Assume they may fill in that big dip near the golf Course so tankers can get thru but the rest is pretty good.....bitumen anyone?

Anthem Frame Breakage

North Turramurra update for 03 Sep
Rode Lovers Jump track (being wippersnipped and blown as I went through), Macrae Pl trail up to Jubes, then back to the North Turra sniggle and along the fire trails to the Murrua Track. A few muddy bits just north of Samuel King, but the only really iffy section was the upper (pipeline) track between the Stonecrop Rd and Gwydir Ave exits, where there is a lot of pipe leakage and deep mud and there is a fallen tree across the exit line down onto the fire trail at the Gwydir Ave end.

Jubes Mountain Bike Park update for 03 Sep
Pump track is closed at the moment due to some surface deterioration. The XC loop also has a fair bit of cracking in the clay surface. And all the turf is pretty much dead. Been a dry couple of months....

Lane Cove National Park update for 03 Sep
Rode through from De Burgh's Bridge to Brown's Waterhole today. All good. The only wet bits are now leaky pipes I reckon....

Cherrybrook to Dural
A few people might know of a fire trail behind Cherrybrook fire trail, I've only explored it breifly, in fact it was one of my first off road rides.
I've heard that you can get from here, down into the valley and up onto the plateau which Dural is on, i've heard it might pop up towards the top of the quarry road track?
Just if anyone knows about it, just looking for a way to link the Cherrybrook and Quarry road rides up.
