Talas/Float conversion 140mm
Hey all,
Wondering if anyone has done a talas to float conversion on a 32mm fork (or who has worked on floats a bit). I've got all the parts but wasn't sure which way the negative spring cup is inserted into the stanchion. Is it so the spring sits inside the cup when installed? Or other way around so cup is upside down and spring sits on outside base of cup if that makes sense. I assembled it dry the first way and have 148mm showing on the stanchion after putting 60 psi in it. That's from top of dust seal lip to crown.
Any input appreciated,
Cheers.

Withdrawn: Frame - Voodoo Wanga
Got to clean up and get rid of a few things.
So up for sale is a new Voodoo Wanga frame.
The frame has a few marks on it here and there from storage and previously being built up by a shop it was stripped down about a year ago and has been hanging up in my garage since then.
The frame is a 19inch / 26inch wheel but can also take 650b which was my original plan. It features sliding drop outs with a hanger so can be built easily as a single speed or geared bike.
A fitted Cane Creek S3 headset is included in the sale.
Located in Five Dock.

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
Late notice yes but I want to take advantage of this weather. I have never ridden this track so first lap may be a bit slower than the rest. I need to get some km's in the legs so looking to do a few laps. I am by no means an elite rider but not a beginner either. I will be leaving Cherrybrook about 12:45. PM me if you need a lift I can take one more person

NSW - Best MTB events for rest of 2013?
Having completed my first 100 in just under 6 hours at The Convict in May I'm gearing up for an enduro race or two leading up to summer. Too many options and precious little time these days with 3 little boys - need to select carefully!
Parkes - Backyamma Bigfoot - 25 Aug - awesome flat singletrack - but doing Mudgee half marathon (tomorrow - agh!) this year instead
Coolah Classic - 15 Sept - if you're keen add it in to a weekend away in Mudgee where we have the Sept food&wine fest happening.

Join a ride: Sat @ Manly Dam, Sun @ Terrey Hills
If you're in Sydney and looking out of the window right now things might look very promising for the weekend, but... the forecast is good so it's time to think about where to ride.
Last week we asked, Where are you riding this weekend?
This week we give thanks to those who share their plans in advance in the calendar, inviting others along for the ride. That's exactly what this site is about. Getting out there, having fun, meeting new people.
Is there any better way to explain that then to take a look at the smiling 'old time' faces from a group ride at Manly Dam last weekend. Looked like a perfect day all round!
So why not join a ride at Manly Dam Saturday Morning or Terrey hills / St Ives on Sunday? Announce your intent by clicking the "...change to show you're in" link on the meeting page. If these don't suit, everyone is welcome to post up their plans if they'd like some company.
And again, thanks to the ride posters, and please keep it up. Remember - if you don't get any takers just keep trying - there's plenty of guys out there reading this who may join you next time.
