Withdrawn: 2011 Cannondale Scalpel Ultimate
For sale is my 2011 Cannondale Scalpel, bought in July 2011 from The Edge Cycles is Gosford. It has had some race duties but has been well maintained.
Condition is used. It does have some scuffs, on the crankset, stem and behind the seat post but these are all small.
This bike is a ripper - super fast, particularly uphills where you will definitely break away from anyone following you. I'll be sad to see it go but will need the proceeds to fund my home deposit.
I'm not selling the speedo, water bottle cage or pedals. Otherwise the specs are:

Rode the section from Wakehurst Parkway to top of 19th Hole today on the way home from a cruise and explore with my son.
Plenty of standing water in places on the fire trail Allambie side. The landing zones at the bottom of the rock shelfs on the fire road descending from Wakehurst Parkway to the creek were pretty chopped out, so keep your front wheel up as you launch.
Other than that, the couple of bikes I saw coming out of the Golf Course singletrack looked pretty clean so it looks like it's quite rideable.
We didn't look, but I'd expect the clay pan at the bottom to still be quite wet and slippery, so take care through there before committing. Perhaps someone who has done a full circuit can fill in the detail.

does anyone here have one fitted and if so are they any good?thought id take the plunge and get a dropper post and these are pretty well priced,cheers
Manly Dam update for 12 Jul
Just got back from lap and its better than what I thought it would be. Standing water on some parts of the track, most of it is avoidable with a few line options. A few bog holes which are all avoidable too. Beware of the last boards before the labs, I drifted down most of it, will catch out the unexpecting
