LMX BMX Track

Saw this posted on the Dirtz facebook page:

"It dismays me but an anonymous complaint has been submitted to Penrith Council in NSW, Australia re the LMX ( Luke Madill ) BMX track. Because its easier, Penrith Council are proposing to have the track torn down. The track features 2 x start hills ( Australia's first 8m ), dual straights on every straight except the finish. It has played host to riders across the World and currently plays host to all of the LMX club members, including many young children. The French team will even be using it to train on in the upcoming weeks.

Just wondering if any one on the Beaches is heading over to Western Australia to do the Cape to Cape in October?

Training - less is more?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

With all the recent wet weather, and because I don't have a road bike, I decided to supplement my training over the last couple of months by going to the gym. I've been doing spin bike sessions including high intensity/ interval sessions. I also do some strength training like squats and leg presses once or twice a week. I still manage to get out for a 3-hour endurance ride at least once each week, but overall my volume of riding has been way less than in previous months.

Front & Rear Shock Pressures

Could somebody please let me know how often should you check your front & rear shock air pressures, and do they lose much air pressure?
Any help would be much appreciated, i'm a newbie to all this.

Ok peeps
Been talking to Lozza and decided that a catch up ride with as many of the old crew we can muster is in order
Note that anyone can come, (wives, kids, mistresses, noobs etc) but will have to endure endless reminiscing and not much riding lol

If people like Gazza and B. Tracey can get some time off their hectic racing agenda that would be good
And Rainton of course - Hans' presence is compulsory so hopefully he's back from OS or i may have to wear my Hans mask
Not sure who else is around here, but the more the merrier
