Ryland update for 10 Jan
Shown on Strava now as Sandy Trail, Ryland is the fire trail heading out along the ridge from where Muppets starts. Ryland keeps going left where Sandy drops down to the creek. I'm sure that bit used to be called something else as well, with Sandy Trail being over the other side of the creek.
It IS sandy along the first bit of Ryland, but otherwise fine until near the end where the Big Chipper has been in action and they have clear felled a few acres under the power lines. Looks pretty awful and makes the track a bit of a stickfest for a few hundred metres. I suppose this is what it takes to remove / lower the risk of fires starting off the power lines, but it makes a bit of a mockery about some of their concerns about the "damage" caused by mtb tracks....

Wildflower Garden update for 10 Jan
Linagen Pl track is fine. Nursery sniggle is good, drainage work seems to have finished (or not resumed yet?). Horse track is fine, although construction at the gun club has recommenced, so be careful crossing the road. Someone has done a bit of work on the grass that was starting to obscure the track. Muppets is fine, although low tree is still an issue.

Must have been more rain overnight than i thought.
