The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
The AM race will run pretty much to our DH race format.
* Rego - 8am till 11.30am
* Shuttles and Practice from 8.30am till 11.30am
* Racing starts at 12.30pm - Run No 1
* Followed immediately by Run No 2
* Normal State and Club DH catagories will apply
* 30 second gaps between riders in each catagory. You must be in line ready for your slot. If you're late the elapsed time counts.
* Entry $35.00 per rider, plus $20.00 for MTBA Day License if required.
* Two 30 seater shuttle buses and bike trailers will be provided all day.
* Fastest run from the two timed runs counts.

Garmin Edge 500 Question
Hi All,
I'm thinking of getting the Garmin Edge 500, after doing some reading online I have a question on the course function, can you load up a GPX file to the device and then follow the course ? The manual says you have to set it up using the garmin training tool.
I know that it's mapping capabilities are quite limited but if I can do the above, I can research the area first load up some points/tracks on the computer and then load it into the GPS and go for a ride. In case I get lost I can always follow the course back to my starting point.
thanks in advance.

Terrey Hills update for 20 Sep
I did Perimeter & Long from the school. That big puddle on long is now full again and apparently perimeter from Nerang has a lot of standing water.

SR Suntour forks go leading edge
... or is that bleeding edge ... carbon crowns and lowers with bonded magnesium droputs. Some beefy looking DH forks too, with adjustable high and low-speed compression, and rebound.
Looks like there's a bit more to their arsenal than heavy coil sprung entry level, apparently Women's XCO gold medalist Julie Bresset won on one of their forks.

Trail vandalism at parramatta reserve..
Hi guys, Ive been around for a bit but this is my first post here. (awesome site, your effort is greatly appreciated)
Living reasonably close to Parramatta the reserve at the lake is my local after or before work track.
Personally it sickens me that Parramatta council aren't willing to open up more of the reserve to cyclists
(yet they seem to turn a blind eye to the idiots that take motor cross bikes and 4x4's in there from the north rocks (seville reserve) side)(or the dog walkers that seem to think there's an exception to their dog being on a lead and cleaning up its sh*t)
