Appin update for 20 Apr
After checking it out today it's still wet. If we get rain tonight you'll feel much better about yourself if you attend a track work session instead!
8am in the Appin carpark.
It'll be yellow on Sunday, after Saturdays track maintenance. Just in time for the club round.

Manly Daily
I just got a call from the manly daily - watch out for a story on nobmob in the health and fitness section next Tuesday (or the one after)!

Tathra MTB Enduro, April 22, 2012 - UPDATE
Yes, It's been raining down in Tathra.
We've done a track inspection today. Wet - but not flooded or event fatal.
Most tracks are on the hill, water drains - and there are some puddles at the bottom.
Rest assured we have no intention of riding on wet or dangerous tracks. It creates too much track damage for us to mend. And too much costly damage for riders.
We are having another track inspection tomorrow morning. Weather is clearing and the forecast (if you put any faith in BOM) is drizzle clearing tonight. Fine for Saturday and Sunday. Plus some drying winds.

HMBA Patterson 3 hr race
Wanting to do this race on Sunday and was wondering if anyone closer to Singleton could give a first hand report on the rainfall they have had there in the past few days. This looks fairly promising compared to the CC and Sydney:
m.weatherzone.com.au/nsw/hunter/singleton/monthtodate

port Macquarie 24 hour
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Telegraph Point turn left off Pacific hwy
perfect single track groomed and fast, no big climbs, about 12.5km loop

Royal National Park update for 19 Apr

Yellomundee Regional Park update for 18 Apr
Like most of Sydney, Yellomundee has had over 80mm of rain in the period 17-18 April - so consider it closed for a week.
Apart from this, there are still a few issues out there due to erosion damage which occurred in Jan/Feb/March:
- both bridges over Shaws Creek are gone, and the trail down to the Trotting Track has dangerously deep wash aways. So please don't ride north of the tarred road at Shaws Farm. This area has been roped off with bunting and signs (not that everyone can read it seems!).
- the area west of the fire road up towards the transmission lines (Tower of Pwer, V Ditch, etc) has massive erosion damage. Please stay clear. Again, it has been roped off with bunting and signs.
thanks

Appin update for 18 Apr
It's been raining, hard. The track is wet. Give it a chance to dry out. However, with the wet weather forecast to continue for the rest of the week, what better way to spend a Saturday than doing some trail maintenance?! If you can't ride it, why not help fix it!
