Manly Dam update for 14 Dec
i rode it thisafternoon(well tech yesterday)around 4pm and it was saturated,pretty muddy on the allambie heights side.i wouldnt be riding there personally until a few more days of consistant warm weather....

Terrey Hills update for 14 Dec
WET, WET , WET tonight.
Perimeter is very wet and boggy from the school up to long trail. Long isn't to bad, the hill is quiet washed out. Rideable but is going to give your drive train and brake pads a good working out. Probably needs a good week to dry out. Horses on the wet track haven't helped.

Down Hill Rider for photoshoot wanted
Hi guys,
I run a commercial photography studio and I'm looking to get some big shots around oxford falls for an application I want to lodge in to Redbull.
If anyone here is willing to take some big drops and would like to help me out in getting some awesome photos it would be great.
It would be a proper shoot with generators and lights etc so it is an opportunity that you wont get very often.

Good Day,
Rode the Dam last night after work and it was not too bad.
Strong wind dried out the track quite well, besides the usual big puddles, which usually take a bit more sun/wind to dry out.
The bike needs a wash after the ride though, so if you are a clean-freak - don't go.

Last Mountain bike event for 2011
Hi there NobMob members
Just letting you know that the last mountain bike race for the year will be the Wicked Wombat 8hr Enduro, being held in Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains on New Years Eve.
This event is being held on a newly constructed private trail network that is not normally open to the public. The 19+km trail network contains a pump track, skills park, jumps line, pocket park and flow trail. It's located on a 300 acre property and is part of an outdoor education centre that has modern accommodation and dining facilities.

with all the recent rain I've had the need to use the Weather and Trail Status features more than I would like to. So just wanted to say thanks to you and those that update them as they are very useful resources to use when deciding whether or not to hit the trails. We headed to Wingello on Sunday with a rather large group, I used the Weather section for historical rainfall and the weatherchannel for current situation. It rained for the first 5-10min of the ride but then the sun came out and we had an awesome ride. Trails were in perfect condition.

good looking bike for a 12 to 14 year old or a small female.
it's not light or has any fancy features ( apart from dual suspension with settings, lockout and hard/ soft etc )
Everything works fine and is bombproof.
You cant see on the pics but the frame is a bit scuffed here and there but it's alloy! It's never gonna rust!

Terrey Hills update for 13 Dec
Duffys Track
Update 13-Dec-11: NPWS has placed a no bicycles sign on the Duffys Track. Confirmed with NPWS ranger that sign was placed there about a month ago due to damage from MTB & horses. Ranger was very clear that no cycles were permitted on this track.
