Shaft a few puddles but otherwise good. Snakes & Ladders, Siesmic, Pump Action, Six Shooter, Double Barrel all good. Twisties a few puddles but otherwise good. Reload, Kennys, thanks to the crews' work all good. Baileys a couple of water issues but OK. BJ's, It Happens, Suess Land all good. Nice arvo, nice ride.

Haven't been in this morning but after last night's rain it's not going to be green, may even be red for a day or two.

Just been on a loop with EMPY to check a few things out before we meet tomorrow with NPWS.

All up, trails are looking pretty good.

Few minor wet/mud holes in the usual places (Kenny's, shaft, Deluge) otherwise all good.

Awaba State Forest update for 18 Aug

Conditions this afternoon were pristine! No issues at all and possibly the best I've ever seen it at Awaba. All sections green and good to go! The forest also provided a nice escape from the wind Smiling

Had a lovely time there today. Trails are fast, dry and fun. The council has blocked off the motorbike trails over near Elermore Vale which should make a more enjoyable experience for MTBers. Have fun, Ride hard.

Looking pretty good this afternoon. Most of the problems remaining now are just the rutting/puddling caused by people riding while the trails were still wet during the recent rainy season, this graphically shows why we ask people to stay off the Singletrack in the wet.

Anyway we can't call the current situation anything but green if we want this this trail status section to have any credibility.

Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 14 Aug

Went for a spin this arvo, trails are as follows:

Double Barrel/twisties/pump action: lots of small/medium branches down, was flicked in the face a few times. A few muddy spots, particularly on twisties.

Kenny's: muddy in a few sections i.e field area and bottom of technical section. Again heaps of branches.

Bjs: fine condition, branches and minimal pooling, the drainage really works well.

Snakes and ladders: Glorious as always (although almost got cleaned up by someone coming down...)

Seismic: great condition.

Overall some parts were a little slippy and had a few mud issues but the majority of tracks can be ridden with care.

Not a drop of rain up here for over a week so all you riders on the coast get out here if you don't mind the bloody wind! Think of it as resistance training.
