I'm *almost* back on the bike...

So after 5-ish weeks off the bike due to the broken wrist (scaphoid) I finally had the cast taken off yesterday!

Back on the stationary gym-bike today, and hoping to be back on the real bike in a few weeks time.
I'll need to, given the 10kg of beer-weight I've put on...

See you on the trails soon,
Don

Route to the City

Hi - does anybody ride to the city from the Northern Beaches.

I am fed up with public transport and want to try riding for a while. Does anybody know the best route to the Bridge.

I am not going to ride on military road as its way too dangerous, so I will be taking the back roads. I only need directions from the top of Parrawee road?

MTB friendly councillors

I know, never mention politics.....but, just wondering out loud...

With the local government elections coming up, does anyone know of any mountain bike friendly candidates in their council areas?

I'm in Warringah, but being in a Manly Daily free street get no local news. I'd be interested to direct my vote to a candidate that would represent the needs of the pedal powered community. It wouldn't hurt to have an interested contact on council to direct trail access issues to.

Nick.

Hi all.

Just thought I'd intorduce myself quickly. I'm another Pom and have been over here since the start of the year. I've not had chance to do much riding yet, but that should change soon as my bikes are on their way over at last.

I love riding downhill and singletracks and cant wait to get back into it.
