Went out to penno park last
Went out to penno park last night which was pretty good fun and a decent test for the lights we purchased. Anyone interested in doing Terry Hills on Wed night? We have never been out there and if we are to venture out in the night it would be nice to have someone that knew the area.
Oaks one way tomorrow
Thinking about doing Oaks one way tomorrow. Does anyone know if river/creek at bottom at Glenbrook is crossable?
Anybody riding today? Around cascades or similar track?
I am keen to go for a ride since the weather is so good. Just got a new bike so looking to break it in. If anybody is heading down to cascades or nearby track this arvo and needs a riding buddy let me know.

Another Epic northern beaches ride?
Hi all,
I was thinking of fitting in one last training hit-out before the 50km Dirtworks. So this training ride is intended to be in the vicinity of 50km distance. It isn't really recommended for our newbies. However it is also not intended to be a non-stop effort either. We will be waiting here and there for the train to catch up.
What's say we commence from Narrabeen Lake, then, based on rider preference, proceed to ride about 50km through Oxford Falls, Red Hill, Cascades, Terrey Hills, then back again?

We did talk about it at the start of the year and never got round to it.

A bit early, but I thought I put it out there I will be in Canberra for an Expo and will be able to ride:
on the 11,12 September early morning and on the 13th most of the day.
Anyone interested? As I said it's early to think about September, but I'm definitely riding the days mentioned....

MTB overnighter
I've been thinking for a while that an overnighter in the Blue Mountains would be a lot of fun, especially one where everybody wasn't racing the following day so that after some great riding a few refreshments could be enjoyed around a campfire.

It looks like Rob will be leaving LNS at the unearthly hour of 5:45 aaaay-emmmmm this Sunday 
Putting the usual offer of ride share out there, any takers? Car can handle 4 riders and bikes, but 3 is probably more comfy. Will probably be driving out along the M2, etc. to get up to Glenbrook so there's not that much scope for pick ups I'm afraid.
Break in the new bike
Believe it or not the bike shop tells me that my bike is finally in after 5 months of waiting! 
I'll pick it up tonight hopefully.
Tien tells me he will be riding Saturday afternoon...possibly a long one. I'm not sure if I can hang around for hours but I'll definitely try and take the bike out for a spin. Track will most likely something around Terrey Hills. Nothing too technical until the brakes bed in and I get a feel for it.
