If you have a pretty much definate plan for a ride then this is not the place for you. You should be creating a ride meeting entry instead, which will appear in the calendar, etc.

Beechworth, Thredbo and Bermagui end of year
Heading down to Albury at end of year (boxing Day) and going to hit up Beechworth and then a couple of days in Thredbo , before coming back via Bermagui Mtb park 
anyone interested in coming down around those dates to sync up some rides (back in sydney around NY, although thinking about spending NYE in thredbo) your more than welcome, should be an absolute blast!- Ill post back in a few days when things a bit more concrete, anyone keen especially for Thredbo around then though, let me know and ill look into the bookings etc..

Hi Everyone, well everyone who isn't riding at the MONT this weekend.
Being that I'm new to the group I was wondering if anybody was riding on Sunday.
Time and place doesn't matter just keen to get out and explore. I rode the dam a few weeks ago.

this is probably obvious to everyone but me, but don't go to a medical centre for an x-ray after a bad stack. they send the x-rays away to be reported on without having the injury in front of them. they gave me completely the wrong diagnosis and had me moving my arm as much as possible and booked in for a cortisone injection.
Fling accomodation
Was just wondering what people are doing for accomodation/ camping that weekend?

Big BBQ Day @ Ourimbah *changed to 20th oct.
After a chat with a few of the guys, we thought of having a big day at Ourimbah, shuttling heaps of runs, doing some xc stuff and having a BBQ in the middle to refuel So i emailed Alan at CCOMTB to check if this was okies, and just heard back no probs as long as hes invited hehe..
So thinking for next sat 6th Oct *changing to 21st oct, as everyone has stuff on next sat! starting at say 9:30/10...
I will need to know whos keen and exactly how many so i can organise food (i am a chef so thats kinda handy, and i can get meat etc. through work, and we can sort it out on the day)
Stromlo anyone?
Looks like there's a few ride offers floating around for long weekend but really keen to get a day down at stromlo forest to see the now open DH track. Im definatly no "sam hill" but i did a bit back in the uk last year, and since moving here i have bought a bike and keen to see whats out of sydney.
Anyway, if anybody wants to join me for a day on monday (v.early start, does anybody know is this a viable journey for a day?) ill drive my ute for fuel chip ins. probs fit three in max but only two bikes. Or we could convoy?
Anyway, id welcome any interest or thoughts on this......

I would be keen for someone to show me a new track around sydney but am not overly fussed.
Nothing way too technical because I don't want to break any bones before the 24 hour race in three weeks.

Monday at Ourimbah?
Just back from a weeks holiday (in Perth without the bike ;-{) so looking to make the most of the long weekend with a decent outing on Monday. How does Ourimbah at 10-ish sound for a bit of XC and DH? If there's enough interest I'll post up a ride meet.
