SOCIAL Ourimbah Nightride!
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
By popular request: SOCIAL Ourimbah Night Ride!
One recon lap starting at 6 PM, followed by 2 night laps once it's dark.

Bring your beverages for a social drink afterwards...
Suggest to organise car pools with "designated drivers"...and to save $$/carbon fuels...

Oxford Falls - Freeride and technical funness
Morgan Road, Belrose. At the second 90 degree right hand bend in the road. There's an area just before you can park and a firetrail heading off to the left.
Greetings!!
I will be riding the downhill / freeride trails at Oxford Falls on Saturday morning. Will look to do a few hours worth. Anyone interested is more than welcome to come along. I am doing my best to ensure there will be at least one shuttling vehicle available. I will know more on that over the next couple of days.
These trails are mainly for the skilled, the brave, or just plain stupid. Probably not suited to a noob rider. Having said that, some of the trail branches are quite accessible to a stock XC bike so if you are interested in learning, do come along.
Cascades - 'after work' Ride - Cancelled due to the rain!
Corner of Elm and Ralston Ave
The first was a killer, forgotten how bad the quarry track is, but it can only get easier!
Terrey Hills Wednesday Night Ride
Terrey Hills Tavern Car Park
Can't do Thursday, but still would want to get out this week. I was thinking about Duck Holes, Center Track and then maybe knit some additional k's on Perimeter and maybe even Long Trail into it. Not sure about all the track names, let me know if I am talking complete nonsense . Ah sure, quick beer afterwards in the Tavern, as well.
Any buyers for Wednesday night? All type of riders welcome. If two times Terrey Hills in one week is too much, I would also be prepared to swap over to Manly Dam.
Let me know, cheers,
Volker
SOCIAL Full Moon Night Ride Duckholes + Centre
Terrey Hills Tavern, Eastern Carpark
Thursday Social night ride - Duckholes & Centre
Stretch your legs - it's gonna be a beautiful FULL MOON night !
Starting from the Tavern as usual. This is a Thursday ride - (can't make it on Wednesday eve).
Naturally we'll have a cleansing ale at the Tavern afterwards.
[Everyone welcome - suitable for newbies, too!]
See you all on Thursday...

LAST ROUND OF OURIMBAH DH RACING!
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. This is the last round for the year of racing at Ourimbah.
At the moment I have someone to shuttle me. (We may be there practicing on Sat the day before as well if anyone is keen).
This is my first race so Im entering in the recreational sport section. Recreational times range from around 3:57 to 5:10 minutes (compared to elite which range from 3:13-4:09).
Should be lots of fun and if you've ever considered racing its pretty cheap and casual according to the old man who had his first two races a few weeks back.
GET SOME DH UP YA!
