Trailbuilding Day for the Sydney 24 in Del Rio
Del Rio Resort is on Riverside Drive, Webbs Creek, NSW.
Juliane and I have been out there twice now to build and scout for a new trail up the hill. I talked to the manager and he promised me that he will clear an old fireroad with his earthmover so we have a bit more trail there.
Now for the hill:
The good news first: J and I were able to cut in a nice new trail that leads around the hill. The 200 or so meters after that should be fairly easy to cut in

Manly Dam - No Lights Required
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
Well I am back at work but intend on stopping at the Dam on the way home. My intention is to do 2 laps before last light so no lights will be required. This does mean laps need to be around 45 minutes.

already stated
well, if you knew me, you'd know where this is going to be
but our esteemed leader doesn't like semi-filled in vague listings
so i can't pre-post where i'm going
so i won't be filling in later where i've been as the place isn't there to be filled in to
Manly Dam.
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
Easy lap(s) around the Dam followed by a cool off swim in the dam. Open to families. We will be bringing kids who will ride. If there are enough riders we can break into groups for different speeds / number of laps. May even bring the esky.
Royal National Park Out And Back
Usually Loftus Oval, Sutherland, just off the Princes Highway.
Going to ride the popular out and back trail, with a small loop thrown in, from Loftus Oval to Heathcote.
There’s plenty of fast flowing single track, a bit of fire trail and a couple of challenging hills thrown in. Pace will be medium (well for me medium, someone else may think it’s slow) and there will be limited stops.
Terrain isn’t too tricky, but good lights will be needed.
Be good to see you there.

Mid week Terrey Hills
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
If the rain stays away...
A ring-in from another well know MTB group and myself will be riding DH+C+P+L on Wednesday morning. Said ring-in says he's out of shape so this will be a sedate, probably around 3 hour pace.
Come along if you're not busy?
menai madness
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
A clown around in the dark and try and stay on the bike this time type of ride
i would like to venture near the north shore stuff, have a play and blast down the berm track ,(hopefully the pea sized rock that caused my little excusion has gone for a walk) and do a bit of sniggle on the way, but depending on who comes we'll see what happens
pads in my case are mandatory but for others less inclined to throw caution to the wind they would be optional
just some fun in the bush on the treadly with some mates
The only DAM place to ride on Sunday
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
SO, every thing else is closed due to a 'questionable' fire risk, so I'll be lapping the dam for a few hours on sunday morning.
All welcome to join in for a lap or several until it gets too hot.
I'll expect to be pacing the laps around the 36-37 minutes, the idea being to get into a steady groove and keep the flow. Happy to pause at the top of climbs if someone is a bit slower on the steep bits but generally able to keep up the pace.
