Mid mountain tour 2

When:
Saturday, 5 January, 2008 - 08:00
Meeting Point:

Woodford train station car park, south side

Railway parade Woodford 2778

Very similar to the last ride I posted but I intend to actually ride it this time, as I won't be doing any jumps beforehand. For those who haven't done it there is a lot of very nice single track and fire roads in the mid mountains between Woodford and Lawson. We'll be doing mostly single track for obvious reasons, it's not too technical but will keep the experienced riders smiling also.
Lunch at the pub in Lawson seemed popular last time so we'll take a vote on it on the day.
Cheers John.
We can start earlier, if that's the Mobs choice, but I'm allowing for traveling time.

Mooney Mooney - Sat 29th

When:
Saturday, 29 December, 2007 - 08:00

Calling all remaining MTB riders! (well, anyone left that is not at Thredbo) Anyone fancy a ride around Mooney Mooney this Saturday? It is an out and back. I am open to suggestions as to where we go while there, as I have not done all of the trails out there yet. But it is an awesome trail! Laughing out loud

Park at the gate to the entrance of the fire road. You gain access to the parking area heading north on the old Pacific Highway. That turn off sits, geographically, right underneath the Mooney Mooney bridge.

Hopefully I will see you there! Bring your aeroguard!! Smiling

Cascades / St Ives

When:
Thursday, 27 December, 2007 - 08:00
Ride Database Entry:
Cascades

I need to burn off a few extra pounds due to an excess of pudding, mince tarts and beer over the last few days and a Boxing Day watching the cricket.

This will be a 20k ride from Belrose to St Ives followed by some sniggle, with a few hills thrown in to up the heart rate.

Come on you know need the hit out.
