Cascades update for 14 May
Still a little damp through the lower parts, which usually take at least 3 weeks to dry out fully regardless. Quite ridable, but you're gonna get wet.

Looking for a Giant Reign 1 for under $1k?
I'm pretty sure about once a month a forum thread goes along the lines of "... I'm think about buying a bike, should I ..." followed by followed by the original poster then saying "I can't afford a $2k/$3k/$4k etc bike"

Saturday PM Terrey Hills Ride: Perimeter/Long Trail
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Join us for a Perimeter/Long Track ride on Saturday arvo. Starting at 1:30 PM at the Terrey Hills shops.

Seaforth Dirt Jumps (aka. the Grove) to open soon - Demo riders required!
Does anyone know about an area of Dirt Jumps at Seaforth that the council (yes... the council!) have been building?
Apparently there will be an official opening of this facility next week. It seems the press might be there and think the council might appreciate a couple of advanced DJ riders turning up and showing off.
Any takers? Anyone heard any other info?

Yellomundee Regional Park update for 13 May
Hi all, Yellomundee is all OK - but please watch out for WSMTB members doing track maintenance work on Sat AM 14 May. We will be using some motorised equipment and so we may not hear you coming! Please ride carefully. We will be concentrating in the area north of Shaws Farm Road (ie the east-west tarred road past the burnt out farm house, ie Shaws Farm).
We'll let you know how good the track is once we've finished.

This ride starts at 7 PM to get us back before the Tavern's kitchen closes for last orders at 8:39 PM.
