Centre Track update for 15 Aug
Aside from the North entry being a bit muddy on the centre/left line there's nothing much to worry about here.

Awaba State Forest update for 15 Aug
all good & trail fairies have added some road base to the couple of muddy bits on jungle creek section-imagine how much better this place could be if 1/2 of the people who ride here did some trailwork?

Who crashes at Terrey Hills?!
Nice stuff today. After a dull looking start the sun came out and things were looking great. We could have gone under 2 hours despite the tiredness of yesterday if it weren't for...
1. Logan crying about his legs
2. Buck and Tien both choosing the same line on the same fire trail. I mean, who crashes on a firetrail... at Terrey Hills!?
As I said on Trev's thread...

Yeti 575 frame ... Fantastic support
I have been a yeti 575 owner for about two and a half years; absolutely love the bike. Recently, after a fantastic biking trip in Scotland ,upon return I put the bike in for a badly needed service and received the bad news that the frame was cracked down near the bottom bracket. However, I have just had the most fantastic support from yeti: within 3 days of the bike being picked up by Paul Rowney himself, I was in possession of a brand new 2010 frame fully rigged up ready to ride......how's that for unbelievable service !!!!

Buckled Wheel
After Rob inspired me to do DH with his recent video post, this is what happened to my front wheel going through the 'stairway to heaven' section of Awaba DH. I did a nice flip too!
Also a good review of Stans Tubeless as the tyre held, only lost 5psi after burping and spewing sealant on the ground.
And if anyone is thinking of lacing a wheel themselves it is not as hard as you might think!

DH/C/P/L
Top day for a ride and good to meet some new people. The pace wasn't as fast as I feared it might of been but gave me a good workout. (lucky for me I didn't scum it for 90 odd ks yesterday) Special thanks to Tien and Buck for a leg relaxing break while we waited for the ambo. Hope all is ok Tien. See you all next weekend?

kiwarrak weekend
looking for expressions of interest in a weekend camping trip to kiwarrak state forest to ride some of their most excellent trails.Probably in the next 4-6 weeks or whenever would suit most people wanting to attend.
Was thinking possibly drive up friday arvo, set up camp, then ride & explore saturday have a few beers around the camp fire saturday night then ride & explore sunday morning,& travel back home sunday arvo. So who's in, & what dates & times would suit.

Have to start somewhere
2nd time round Manly Dam after a couple years away from any sort of fitness... Carrying an extra 5kgs of weight doesn't help either...
Goal number 1 is to go under 45... Then get under 40 by the end of Summer...
FYI... I do the start/finish at Wakehurst Parkway as i rude over from Forestville
