I so wanna ride!!
it was very cool at the 8 1/4 hours ride - a good crew of NobMobbers and a beautiful day - well a bit hot is all. Tracy and I were entered as a Masters Pair - unfair they don't have Mixed Masters Pairs in our opinion, but hey we are about enjoying the ride not competing - usually. Anyway, we managed to nudge the vehicle in near the shade and set up with the gang. We were cunningly placed about 100m up the track from the transition where we could in fact have our own transition zone.

My turn to ask for help !!!
Ok Lesson number 1 don't order gear online after a bottle of red and six beers. (It also makes you think that what ever you buy online late at night is totally justifide and the wife won't find out anyway, not!)
Lesson 2 double check what you have ordered then check it again, but I thought I did that so don't bother with lesson 2 if you didn't heed lesson 1.
I now own a SRAM Cassette PG-830 11-32 8 speed. Should have been 9 speed.
Question: will my Shimano 9 speed shift still work ok on the 8 if I fit it?
