Red Hill

Has anyone ridden Red Hill following the rains - interested in going out there on Saturday - any views on how it would have drained. Thanks

Cascades update for 05 May

Area:
Cascades
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Rode Heath, Bare ck, Cascades and the Cambournes this morning. Plenty of water around but easy enough to find a dry line most places. A word of caution on the yellowish, clay/muddy bit at the creek crossing at the western end of Bare ck track. There's a deep rut with a deep hole forming. Will get deeper and be easier to do an OTB every time it gets ridden through.

Wheels - the never ending question...

I happened to be looking around on my favourite online bike store (that results in credit card fraud - yep someone kindly decided to spend $200 on my card, no problems getting it back) and I came across the Pro-Lite Allein Wheelset: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?M...

Signs for the dam

Recently noticed a random pic on this site it was of a sign saying "dont ride if muddy" how do we get these or similar at all entrances to the Dam? Happy to contribute time & money and would assume council and rangers would chip in.
A sign the size of the fire ones "open or closed" that could be seen when you drive down w/hurst would also be good

Long overdue Mont 24 Write-up

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

This was my second team 24 event and a very different kettle of fish from the Jet Black 24 I'd done previously. If we could just drop the cabins from Del Rio into the Kowan site it would be perfect. In the interests of bevity here's the concise version.

Highlights:
- The slugger: John. Was crook and was out for the count in the tent from lunchtime on Saturday but still managed to get out for every one of his laps bar one. Didn't puke once on the track

As it turns out the job in the morning fell through so have changed it to sat morning ,I prefer morning rides any way

Ourimbah State Forest update for 04 May

Status:
Green/Open

All good except for Lost Forest,2 spots in particular mud deep enough to cause an otb if you dont see it early enough.Would suggest not riding Lost Forest for at lest a week without rain.
