Manly Dam update for 19 Mar
It has improve slightly from yeserday. It was a still bit damp this morning with a few puddles along the Wakehurst parkway section from the bowling club. I didn't ride down to the creek so no idea what the Allambie Fire Trail side is like. Possums had a few puddles, and a couple of soft spots on Kevin Costner that are developing ruts. So not green yet. I'm rating it Amber.

It was a bit wet this morning with a lot of puddles along the Wakehurst parkway section from the bowling club, though surprisingly good past the creek.
But.... Its raining again now so it's going to get a lot wetter and likely to be pretty marginal this weekend

RIP Mark Dunlop
An absolute tragedy.
If all else failed and I felt like my life had totally collapsed around me, I know I could escape from everything by heading to the Redwoods - where could this guy go?
I had many a chat with Mark as he drove me up in the Shuttle. He brought untold joy to my life, there would be thousands of mountain bikers who feel the same.
Thanks for everything mate.

That one day, we'll have flow trails around the slopes below the headlands of Pittwater, with views over the water that will compete for our attention to the trails.
